Turn Your Clocks
Back! - My favorite day of the year is just
hours away! It's
the day we turn our clocks back 1 hour and return to Standard
Time. Why is this so special to me? 'Cuz I get an extra
hour of SLEEP! But if you don't plan on sleeping and need
to fill that extra hour, you can always check out these
interesting facts on the history of Daylight
Savings Time. So, just remember to turn back your clocks
1 hour by 2 AM on October 26, and you'll be set. If not,
you can astonish your friends at how much the early bird
you've become!

iTunes Comes
Out On Top - A writer
for the Wall Street Journal has weighed iTunes
for Windows against Napster and Musicmatch music services.
In fiddling around with all three he favored Apple's features
above the others. The article adds that iTunes is advantageous
because it allocates more burns per playlist, has more music
selection, and works well with the popular iPod. Not only
is Apple on the edge of digital music, it also has the edge
on digital music. - from MacCentral
Jobs:
Musical Insight - Apple CEO Steve Jobs shared
some of his insights on internet music during an interview
for next week's issue of Newsweek. In the conversation he
commented that Apple does not wish to compete with Windows
when it comes to online music services. When speaking of
the iPod, Jobs said Apple was working on ways to make it
cheaper. He also assured audiences that when the digital
music world goes wireless, Apple will be there. -

MOMMY TEST
I was out walking with
my then 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off
the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I asked her
not to do that. "Why?" she asked.
"Because it's been
laying outside and is dirty and probably has germs."
At this point, she looked at me with total admiration and
asked, "Wow! How do you know all this stuff?"
"Uh," I was thinking quickly, everyone knows this
stuff, "Um, it's on the mommy test. You have to know
it, or they don't let you be a mommy."
"Oh," she
replied.
We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was
evidently pondering this new information. "I get it!"
she beamed. "Then if you flunk, you have to be the
daddy."
COURTROOM CAPER
During a courtroom cross
examination, the lawyer inquired, "So when you signed
the death certificate you had not taken any steps to make
sure the man was dead, had you?"
The coroner, now tired
of the brow beating said, "Well, let me put it this
way. The man's brain was sitting in a jar on my desk, but
for all I know he could be out there practicing law somewhere."
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S

Music By The
Millions - Windows users have wasted no
time in putting the iTunes
Store to use. They have jumped at the chance to download
tunes, breaking the threshold of a million tunes sold in
only the first three days! That's right, the iTunes Store

Not only that, but over a million copies of iTunes for Windows

Studded Speech - Apple CEO Steve
Jobs featured many famous musicians who put in a favorable
word for iTunes
during his presentation last week. Bono of U2
and Mick Jagger of the Rolling
Stones appeared courtesy of iChat AV and iPhoto, and
Sarah
McLauchlan sang live on stage. Jobs stated that there
were others who wanted to join in but they were touring
at the time. The musical giants joked a bit with Jobs, and
Bono even revised the lyrics of a late Coca Cola commercial
quoting, "I'd like to teach the world to iTunes."

LEMME AT HIM!
An English guy was very
ill and his son went to visit him in the hospital. Suddenly,
the father began to breathe heavily and grabbed the pen
and pad by the bed. With his last ounce of strength he wrote
a note, dropped it, and died. The son was so overcome with
grief that he didn't remember slipping the note into his
pocket.
At the funeral, he reached
into the pocket of his coat and immediately felt the note.
He excitedly read it thinking it might be something he could
recite during the service. It said:
YOU IDIOT -- GET OFF MY OXYGEN PIPE!!! !"
NO CAVITIES
One fine afternoon,

out, "Hey mom, I have no cavities today."
His mom stared at him
wide-eyed and quite surprised. But she smiled and then frowned
knowing the expected. "Let me guess," she said,
"You don't have any teeth left."
