Ear This! - According to the General
Telephone Company of Pennsylvania, the typical American
spends an average of one year of his or her life speaking
on the telephone. Well that would explain the phone growing

That Bugs Me

different species of insects in the world. The insect population
of the world is at least 1,000,000,000,000,000,000.

Saying that men talk about baseball in order to avoid talking

Full Moon Fever - A
full moon rarely shows up on Halloween, although Halloween
is often associated with full moons.
The next full moon on October 31 will occur in 2020.
The Meaning of Madness! - Sanity is a madness
put to good uses.
George
Santayana
Real Stinger -
The bumblebee does not die when it stings – it
can sting again and again. In bumblebee hives, the entire
colony, except for the queen, dies at the end of each summer.
Each year, an entirely new colony of bees must be produced.

Beatles'
Nightclub Cloned - Replicas of the Cavern,
the club where the Beatles hit the big time, are going to
be rendered all over the globe. The first Cavern look-alike
is scheduled for Southern Spain, and eventually a replica
will even rise in Russia. Not only do the Cavern replicas
have to look authentic, they also have to promise to promote
live music. Though Cavern clubs will be built all over the
world, there will not be another one erected in England.
The home country will only house the original. -

make for quite the incredible creation!
What

Why, a Monkie
Splat of course! MacMonkies'
Bradford Wiles departed on a GUI journey with the EyeCandy

was originally rendered in Bryce, but eventually got quite

iPod
Urgency: iPod On ER
- Actor Noah Wyle, who played Apple CEO Steve Jobs in the
movie "Pirates Of Silicon Valley," got to plug
Apple products on TV once again. In last week's episode
of ER, his character, doctor John Carter, was shown sitting
on the floor listening to an iPod after an exhausting day
in Africa. A fellow doctor asked him, "What's that?"
"iPod," he responded, and proceeded to explain
that it was a digital music player. If it's good enough
for ER, it's good enough for America! -

Open Window
For Apple - Windows has provided a window of opportunity
for Apple
to enter the business world. Apple can get its foot in the
door primarily because of the virus problem that has plagued
PCs. There are, however, a couple more reasons for companies
to consider switching to Mac computers. The use of Unix
and the rising love of laptops are two keys. Also, many
enterprises are employing young whipper snappers who would
make the switch easy because they already know how to make
the most of Macs! - from Businessweek

A-Dock X
- This Monkie just loves to customize his Mac, but I don't
like all the clutter of countless folders littered all over
the desktop. So what's the best solution since Apple introduced
the Dock with OSX? Quite simply, A-Dock
X from The
tijej house!
If
you comb through your Monkie cobwebs, you will recall that
Jérome Foucher made A-Dock
available to us for the 'Classic' environment. But in recent
months, Jérome has been working hard with the beta
releases of A-Dock X to bring us an even
better dock than you can imagine! A-Dock X can do practically
everything that Apple's dock can do and then some. It's
like the dock on steroids! Furthermore, you can have both
Apple's Dock and A-Dock X running at the same time to add
for twice the fun.
Top it all off with the ability to
custom "theme" A-Dock X, and you have a useful
tool that looks as good as it works! I can't wait for the
final release of A-Dock X as I am already hooked! You will
be too once you get yourself to The
tijej house and download the beta version of A-Dock
X. Get to groovin'!
