You have the right to
remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted, then
used against you.
I wonder how much deeper
the ocean would be without sponges.
Honk if you love peace
and quiet.
Despite the cost of
living, have you noticed how it remains so popular?
Nothing is foolproof
to a sufficiently talented fool.
It is hard to understand how a cemetery
raised its burial cost and blamed it on the cost of living.
The 50-50-90 rule: Anytime you have
a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90%
probability you'll get it wrong.
It is said that if you line up all
the cars in the world end to end, someone would be stupid
enough to try and pass them.
You can't have everything...where
would you put it?
THE SPEEDING NUN
A cop pulls over a car load of nuns.
Cop: "Sister, this is a 65 MPH
highway -- why are you going so slow?"
Sister: "Sir, I saw a lot of
signs that said 22, not 65."
Cop: "Oh, sister, that's not
the speed limit, that's the name of the highway you're on!"
Sister: "Oh! Silly me! Thanks
for letting me know. I'll be more careful."
At this point the cop looks in the
backseat where the other nuns are shaking and trembling.
Cop: "Excuse me, Sister, what's
wrong with your friends back there? They're shaking something
terrible."
Sister: "Oh, we just got off
of highway 120."
POOR SOULS...
A young lad was visiting a church
for the first time, checking all the announcements and posters
along the walls. When he came to a group of pictures of
men in uniform, he asked a nearby usher, "Who are all
those men in the pictures?"
The usher replied, "Why, those
are our boys who died in the service."
Dumbfounded, the youngster asked,
"Was that the morning service or the evening service?"

Buy Macs At
Best Buy - Apple continues to take care of business
by making another deal with
Best Buy. The company, which currently carries the iPod,
is partnering up for a pilot program this Fall, with the
results to be closely calculated. Apple will allow Best
Buy to carry computers in addition to the iPod, and will
provide its own representatives to assist in some stores.
Success of the pilot program is likely if Apple leans toward
the best physical locations of the Best Buy stores chosen.

Puppy
Plastic - Man's best friend recently received a
credit card application in the mail from The Royal Bank
of Scotland. Monty, a companion of canine persuasion, was
offered the opportunity to go for a $10,000 gold card with
flight privileges included. Having plucked the pet puppy's
name off a list they purchased, the bank had no idea that
Monty was a mutt. They apologized afterward and have since
deleted the dog off their database. -

DIG IT!
An old man lived alone in Ireland.
He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard
work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in Long
Kesh Prison.
The old man wrote a letter to his
son and mentioned his predicament. Shortly, he received
this reply, "For HEAVEN'S SAKE, Dad, don't dig up that
garden, that's where I buried the GUNS!"
At 4 A.M. the next morning, a dozen
British soldiers showed up and dug up the entire garden,
without finding any guns. Confused, the old man wrote another
note to his son telling him what happened, and asking him
what to do next.
His son's reply was: "Now plant
your potatoes, Dad. It's the best I could do at this time."

THE OTHER SIDE
A member of the United States Senate,
known for his hot temper and acid tongue, exploded one day
in mid-session and began to shout, "Half of this Senate
is made up of cowards and corrupt politicians!" All
the other Senators demanded that the angry member withdraw
his statement, or be removed from the remainder of the session.
After a long pause, the angry member
acquiesced. "OK," he said, "I withdraw what
I said. Half of this Senate is NOT made up of cowards and
corrupt politicians!"

Cool
Cats - More and more mac users will be calling
kitties as Apple continues its feline frenzy in nicknaming
future operating systems. Apple already owns the coolest
cat on the block, Panther. But the company has tacked a
trademark on more cat code names including Cougar and Leopard,
continuing its cat naming trend. From the chasing Cheetah
(Mac OS X) and beyond the prowling Panther (Mac OS X 10.3),
mac users will be sure to enjoy their experiences mousing
around with all the cool cats! - from

Old Macs Never
Die - The Mac G4 Cube may have been short-lived,
but during
that time it developed a flock of faithful followers that
are still fanatic about it to this day. Continuous upgrading
keeps the Cube up to par, but a common concern among cubers
seems to be keeping the Cube cool. Cube owners have customized
their Cubes in many ways to accomplish this, including use
of a larger shell and actually cutting a hole in the Cube
to get it some more air. Cubers will go to any lengths as
they fight to keep their computers alive, mostly because
they dig the design. - from Wired
