Things That Make a gorilla Go Huhhhh?
What does prehistoric mean exactly? How can
something be "before" history?
Isn't the bride
marrying the wrong person, if someone else is the "best
man?"
Is it supposed to be a good thing when you're
the pick of the 'litter?'
What's the difference between doing
something 'out of spite', or doing something 'in spite?'
When
a kid is crying, wouldn't it be better to give them something
to stop crying about?
If we came from monkeys, why are there
still monkeys?
Why don't they call firemen "extinguishermen?"
How
does a blind man know where to aim when he pees?
If a
tree falls on a mime, does it make a noise?
AND REMEMBER...Even little children, even
the ones failing first grade, can ask questions that scholars
can't answer.

OLD LADIES' NOGGINS
Three old ladies are
sitting in a diner, chatting about various things. One
lady says, "You
know, I'm getting really forgetful. This morning, I was
standing
at the top
of the stairs, and I couldn't remember whether I had just
come up or was about to go down."
The second lady
says, "You
think that's bad? The other day, I was sitting on the edge
of my bed and I couldn't remember whether I was going to
sleep or had just woken up!
The third lady smiles
smugly, "Well,
my memory is just as good as it's always been, knock on
wood," she
says as she raps on the table. Then with a startled look
on her face, she asks, "Who's there?"

COW PAT LIP GLOSS
An old cowhand came
riding into town on a hot, dry, dusty day. The local
sheriff watched from
his chair in front
of the saloon as the cowboy wearily dismounted and tied
his horse to the rail. The cowboy then moved slowly to
the back of his horse and waited for the horse to do its "duty." He
plopped his finger in the dung and applied it to his lips.
Then he stepped up on the walk and aimed
toward
the
swinging
doors of the saloon.
"Hold on there, Mister," said the
sheriff. "Did
I just see what I think I saw?"
"Reckon you did,
Sheriff. I got me some powerful chapped lips."
"And that cures them?" the
Sheriff asked.
"Nope, but it
keeps me from lickin' 'em."

U.S. State of Mind - Since July 8, 2003,

Botswana Africa. She was visiting her sister and brother-in-law
who are medical missionaries in Africa. The following stories
are the last she will be reporting from the other side of
the world until she arrives back in the States on July 24th.
We wish her the most safe trip and many thanks for her delightful

Go Gadget Mac - iSight has been dubbed Time
Magazine’s gadget of the week. It is as simple and
seamless to use as the iTunes store, with all the class
and style for which Apple is famous. If a person has the
prerequisites for using iSight, video conferencing can
be
as easy as plugging in the camera. The camera not only
enhances eye sight, but also enhances hearing through its
built-in
microphone. With a good picture and excellent sound quality,
the user friendly program promises to please users of all
levels. - from MacMinute
iTunes Saves
The Play - Rolling Stone reporter Jenny
Eliscu raves about the success of the iTunes
Store in her recent writings. She notes that in a biz where
music stores are drying up and cutting staff down to the
bare bones, iTunes seems to be the safe song haven. Digital
downloads have been not only been a breath of fresh air
to the biz, but also a new breath of life. This provision
of music to our ears even has other companies, such as Amazon,
looking into offering tunes over the computer as well. -

Macs
Make Marked Profit
- Apple has reported a rip roaring increase in sales reflected
in the latest fiscal findings. The $19 million profit is
more than than has met their eyes for the last eleven quarters!
Items that led the increase by far and away were Apple’s
iPod and laptops. The millionth iPod was purchased as well
as over six million songs from iTunes to date! Overall hardware
sales, which were up eight percent, also helped to boost
Apple higher on the hog. - from MacCentral
Pardon My French
- French eminence is erasing the term "e-mail"
in an attempt to re-entitle
the electronic epistles. Canning use of the current term
for computer correspondence, the French prefer a prettier
pronunciation that is tidier to their native tongue. They
have teamed up and formed the term "courrier electronique,"
calling it "courriel" for short. Courriel will
be found in place of the term e-mail on all French government
and official documents in the future. Awe...The
French kiss of death! - from Excite

WINDOWS VIRUS
What's the difference
between Windows and a virus?
A virus does something.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED

CANCELLED
A ragged individual stranded for
several months on a small desert island in the middle of
the Pacific Ocean one day noticed a bottle lying in the
sand with a piece of paper in it. Rushing to the bottle,
he pulled out the cork and with shaking hands withdrew the
message.
"Due to lack of maintenance,"
he read, "we regretfully have found it necessary to
cancel your e-mail account."
