Cape Town
As reported by an anonymous travel agent:
I got a call from a woman who wanted to go to Capetown. I started to explain
the length of the flight and the passport information when she interrupted
me with "I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Cape Town is in
Massachusetts."
Without trying to make her look like the stupid one, I calmly explained, "Cape
Cod is in Massachusetts, Capetown is in Africa."
Her response...click.
No Eyes
What do you call a fish with no eyes?
A fsh.
Emergency Room
I am five feet, three inches tall and pleasingly plump. After I had a minor
accident, my mother accompanied me to the emergency room. The ER nurse asked
for my height and weight, and I blurted out, "Five-foot-eight, 125 pounds."
While the nurse pondered over this information, my mother leaned over to
me. "Sweetheart," she gently chided, "this is not the Internet."
Magic Driveway
A magician was driving down the road..then he turned into a drive way.

Sharing Apple Shares - Apple shares are still
being traded in a comparable number to PC shares, indicating that Apple in
the business of success to stay. Some question whether the switch to Intel
was a smart move in the middle of such a growth spurt as Apple has had, but
the company only has expectations for further growth in the future. It has
switched to PowerPC chips and a Unix operating system in the past and still
come out on top. - from TheStreet
Intel Switch Part Of Strategy - Apple CEO
Steve Jobs is all about strategy, and the recent switch to Intel is not exempt
of being a part of the overall Apple plan. It seems that IBM was chosen by
Apple originally just so it could distinguish itself further from the PC.
The company's switch to Intel at this point in time not only will make the
Mac cheaper and open a number of Power possibilities, but appears to be a
direct challenge to Microsoft. - from MacNewsWorld
Legal Eagles -
The Eagles are not the only band being downloaded legally
lately. Studies show that legal downloads through online music stores such
as the Apple iTunes Music Store are now equal to the number of illegal downloads.
Many people sited their stop of piracy to the fear of prosecution. Whatever
the reasons, Apple is accomplishing its goal of reducing piracy set out when
iTunes and the iPod were first introduced. - from MacObserver

Lemons
A woman went to a Florida lemon grove to apply for a job, but the foreman
thought she seemed way too qualified for the position. "Do you even
have any actual experience picking lemons?" he asked.
"Well, I think I do." she replied. "I've been divorced three
times."
The New 3 Bears
It's a sunny morning in the big forest and the Bear family is just waking
up. Baby Bear goes downstairs and sits in his small chair at the table. He
looks into his small bowl. It is empty! "Who's been eating my porridge!" he
squeaks.
Daddy Bear arrives at the table and sits in his big chair. He looks into
his big bowl. It is also empty! "Who's been eating my porridge?" he
roars.
Mommy Bear puts her head through the serving hatch from the kitchen
and screams, "For cryin' out loud! How many times do we have to go
through this crap? I haven't even made the porridge yet!"
Blonde Knock
Why can't you tell blondes, knock-knock jokes?
Because they keep walking off to answer the door.
Seinfeld On Parakeets
I had a parakeet that used to fly around the house and crash into these
huge mirrors my mother put in. Ever heard of this interior design principle,
that a mirror makes it seem like you have an entire other room? What kind
of jerk walks up to a mirror and goes, "Hey look, there's a whole other
room in there. There's a guy that looks just like me in there."
But
the parakeet would fall for this. I'd let him out of his cage, he'd fly
right into the mirror. And I'd always think, "Even if he thinks the mirror
is another room, why doesn't he at least try to avoid hitting the other parakeet?"

Odds and Ends
Loose Lungs - Because of their extreme elasticity,
the lungs are 100 times easier to blow up than a child's toy balloon.
Convincing Carrie - After some small film
roles, actress Sissy Spacek soared to fame as the title character in Stephen
King's 1976 movie shocker Carrie, where she portrayed a homely, unpopular
high school student with deadly telekinetic powers. She did such a convincing
job in the role that few people are aware that Spacek was selected as the
homecoming queen at her high school in Texas. Spacek was also in her mid-20s
when she was cast as the adolescent Carrie.
Correlating Crime - Temperature
and crime are correlated. Many more crimes are committed in the hot summer
months than in the cold winter months.
What's Up With Them Words? -
Why is a person who plays the piano called a pianist but a person who drives
a race car not called a racist?
- George Carlin
Money, Money, Money! -
I can spend your money better than you can.

then you can't change. After I die, I'll probably come

Dancing With Ghouls
Q: Why didn't the skeleton dance at the party?
A: He had no **body** to dance with.
Money Problems
A young man was having some money problems, and needed $200 to get his car
fixed and road-worthy again, but had run out of people to borrow from. So,
he calls his parents via the operator, and reverses the charge and says to
his dad, "I need to borrow two hundred dollars."
At the other end, his father says, "Sorry, I can't hear you, son, I
think there may be a bad line."
The boy shouts, "Two hundred. I need two hundred dollars!"
"Sorry, I still can't hear you clearly," says his father.
The operator cuts in, "Sorry to butt in, but I can hear him perfectly."
The father says, "Oh, good. YOU send him the money!"
Apartments
Why are they called apartments if they are attached to each other?
The Orchestra
One night, a well-known orchestra was playing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.
One bass player said to the other, "We don't have much to do for a while,
so let's go to the bar next door. To give us some extra time, I tied the
last pages of the music together, so the conductor will have to untie them
when he gets near the end." They sneaked out and had a few drinks together,
becoming increasingly drunk. Then they staggered back into the auditorium
just in time for the finish.
The next day, when asked how the concert went,
the conductor replied, "Pretty
boring, but it picked up at the end of the Ninth when the score was tied and
the bassists were loaded."
National Bird
