PROGRAMMER
AND PRINCESS
A
programmer was crossing a road one day when a frog called
out to him and said, "If you kiss me, I'll turn
into a beautiful princess." He bent over, picked
up the frog and put it in his pocket.
The frog spoke
up again and said, "If you kiss me and turn me
back into a beautiful princess, I will stay with you
for one week." The programmer took the frog out
of his pocket, smiled at it and returned it to the pocket.
The frog then cried
out, "If you kiss me and turn me back into a princess,
I'll stay with you and do anything you want." Again
the programmer took the frog out, smiled at it and put
it back into his pocket.
Finally, the frog asked, "What
is the matter? I've told you I'm a beautiful princess
and that
I'll stay with you for a week and do anything you want.
Why won't you kiss me?"
The programmer said, "Look,
I'm a programmer. I don't have time for a girlfriend.
But a talking frog,
now that's cool."
BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY
A dead-beat Dad died
and went to Heaven. He was greeted at the Golden Gate by
St. Peter, who warmly shook his
hand and asked him to sit down next to him.
Looking over the dead-beat Dad's file, St. Peter frowned
and shook his head sadly.
"Your record looks
fine, except for one glaring item. Why didn't you pay
child
support for your six kids?"
The man jumped up. "Child
support?! All God said in Genesis was 'Be fruitful and
multiply.' He didn't say nothin' about
supporting them!"
St. Peter smirked: "That
part of Genesis was God's Italian wife's recipe for marinated
steak,
buddy...Beef,
fruit, fuel, and a mallet apply."
FLYING LEAP
Every morning a man drives to the dock, and
every morning the man takes the ferry to work. One morning,
he wakes up, and has no electricity. He has no idea what
time it is, but assumes he's late since he has a tendency
to sleep late anyway. So he slams down some breakfast,
hauls butt to the dock, sees the ferry ten feet from the
dock, and takes a running leap. He barely makes it, skidding
across the deck of the boat, and hurting himself quite
badly.
"You know," said the captain, "in
another minute we would have docked."

iTunes And Ice Cream - Many Americans will
soon be getting a side of iTunes with their ice cream from
Ben and Jerry's. The ice cream company is a big fan of
Apple, and asked if it would join them in a purposeful
promotion. Apple agreed, and will be giving away free songs
in conjunction with Ben and Jerry's annual free cone day.
Customers will also have the opportunity to register to
vote through the promotion when they pick up their free
cones and free tunes. - from MacObserver
Microsoft Mac Heads - More and more Mac users
are popping up in the Microsoft office. Most members of
Microsoft's Mac Business Unit are Mac heads, but it is
claimed that there is an entire mini Mac culture growing

geeks no matter who they work for and they like anything
cool, which automatically makes many Microsoft employees
Mac fans. Microsoft may pay their bills, but Mac grabs

THE END IS
NEAR
A
priest and pastor from the local parishes are standing
by the side of the road holding up a sign that reads, "The
End is Near! Turn yourself around now before it's too
late!" They planned to hold up the sign to each
passing car.
"Leave us alone you religious nuts!" yelled
the first driver as he sped by. From around the curve they
heard
screeching tires and a big splash.
"Do you think," said one clergy
to the other, "we
should just put up a sign that says 'Bridge Out' instead?"
BANANARAMAROBASTORE!
A banana peel and a banana
are robbing a store.
"Don't worry," says the peel. "I've
got you covered!"
PEOPLE IN GRASS HOUSES
The king of a small
African nation had an elegant golden throne in his large
grass hut. When an old friend came
to visit from another nation, he was worried that the
man would discover he was a king and treat him differently.
He searched frantically for a place to hide the throne,
but to no avail.
Finally, he decided to have it wedged
up in the ceiling of his hut. When his friend arrived,
he went to the hut's opening to greet him. Just then
the ceiling started to give way, and the golden throne
fell on the king, killing him.
The moral of the story
is this: People who live in grass houses should not stow
thrones.

Pearl Jams With Mac - The band Pearl Jam has found Mac

Whiz Kid Corrects Windows - Matt Thompson, 19, became

him to their security department, where he worked with
them by comparing codes until they beat the bug. Microsoft's
thanks to Thompson was simply the mention of his name on
their website. - from BBC

Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant.
Day 761 - Today my attempt to kill my captors
