WHO'S THE BOSS?
A boss was complaining
in a staff meeting the other day that he wasn't getting
any respect. Later
that morning he went to a local sign shop and bought a
small sign that read, "I'm the Boss". He then
taped it to his office door. Later that day when he returned
from lunch, he found that someone had taped a note to the
sign that said, "Your wife called. She wants her sign
back!"

MY PIG BELLE
I once had a pet pig named Belle. One day
I decided to let Belle have his freedom. When I let Belle
go, he ran as fast as he could into a fence post. I could
see three ribs exposed. Belle was dead! I decided to take
Belle to a vet. The vet did
an autopsy, he concluded Belle
died from Suey Side.

ONE TOUGH TEACH!
A school teacher injured his back and had
to wear a plaster cast around the upper part of his body.
It fit under his shirt and was not noticeable at all. On
the first day of the term, still with the cast under his
shirt, he found himself assigned to the toughest students
in school.
Walking confidently into the rowdy classroom,
he opened the window as wide as possible and then busied
himself with desk work. When a strong breeze made his tie
flap, he took the desk stapler and stapled the tie to his
chest.
He had no trouble with discipline that term.
THE FLORIST'S TWINS
Did you hear about the
florist's twins?
Why yes! One was a budding genius and
the other was a blooming idiot.
DATING DINOSAURS Some
tourists in the Chicago Museum of Natural History are
marveling at the dinosaur bones. One of them
asks the guard, "Can you tell me how old the dinosaur
bones are?"
The
guard replies, "They are 3 million, four years, and
six months old."
"That's an awfully exact number," says
the tourist. "How do you know their age so precisely?"
The
guard answers, "Well,
the dinosaur bones were three million years old when I
started working here, and that was four and a half years
ago."

Apple At The
Oscars -
Apple was once again an underlying presence at the
Academy Awards, as the film
taking best visual effects was created using Shake. Steve
Jobs wasn't too shaken up by this showing because it is
the seventh year in a row a Shake film has taken the category.
The winning wonder was "The Lord of the Rings: The
Return of the King," which won all of the seven categories
in which it was nominated. Shake was credited as the cornerstone
of the films visuals by the supervisor of effects. -
from

Correction:
We stated that 'The winning wonder
was "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King," which
won all of the seven categories in which it was nominated.'
It should have read: "...won all of the eleven categories
in which it was nominated.'- Brad
While My Hit Songs Gently Weep -
Eric Clapton has decided not to perform his hit song, "Tears In Heaven," in concert anymore.
He says he needs to feel a certain heaviness to sing the
song effectively and he is simply too happy right now.
Now that he has had sufficient time to grieve he is, in
effect, putting the song to rest along with his grief.
Clapton is also bringing the song "My Father's Eyes" to
a close. Both songs got him Grammies. - from Excite

WORDS OF WISDOM?
1. If
you lend someone $20, and never see that person again,
it was probably worth it.
2. Accept that some days you're the pigeon,
and some days you're the statue.
3. It may be that your sole purpose in life
is simply to serve as a warning to others.
4. Never put both feet in your mouth at the
same time, because then you don't have a leg to stand on.
MEMORIES
The
children had all been photographed, and the teacher was
trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group
picture. "Just
think how nice it will be to look at it when you are
all grown up and say, 'There's Jennifer, she's a lawyer,'
or 'That's Michael, He's a doctor.'"
A small voice at
the back of the room rang out, "And there's the
teacher, She's dead."
SURVIVOR
A Canadian,
an American and a China man are stranded on a deserted
island. The Canadian tells the others
that he will be in charge of food. American volunteers
to be in charge of water and the Chinese man says
he will be in charge of supplies. They split up
to do their jobs and decide to meet up later.
When
the Canadian and the American return, there is
no sign of the Chinese man. Days pass by, but
they still can't find their friend. One day as they
are walking along a path, the Chinese man jumps
from the bushes and yells "SUPPLIES!!"
