Get Him!
Jack was single. He lived in a small flat, which he shared with a pet parrot
and a pit bull terrier named spike. When Jack's dishwashing machine broke
down, he asked his neighbor Pet, the repairman to come and fix it. "The
terrier won't harm you," said Jack before leaving, "But whatever
you do, NEVER SPEAK TO THE PARROT!"
Soon after, the parrot started on Pet, "I heard your wife shout at
you the other day, you are such a wimp."
Pet ignored it and kept working.
"You
couldn't change your flat tire the other day," said the parrot,
"so how are you going to fix a dishwashing machine?"
Fed up, Pet replied, "Okay.
How would I expect you, with the brain the size of a bean to talk any
sense?"
"That’s it!" said the parrot. "Spike, get him!

Broke
After being arrested for robbery, Quinn hired the best lawyer in town.
"Look," the crook said, "I've got nearly a million
in cash in my bank box.
Can you get me off?"
The lawyer said, "Believe me, pal, you will
never go to prison with that kind of money."
And sure enough, he did
not. He went to prison flat broke.

a few certain rules it must follow, including choosing your friends well

3 Wise Women
Do you know what would have happened if it
had been Three Wise Women instead of Three Wise Men?
They would have asked
directions, arrived on time, helped deliver the baby, cleaned the stable,
made a casserole and brought practical gifts.
Oh Little Bank Americard
Oh, little Bank Americard
You bring me Christmas Cheer
Without your clout, I have no doubt
No gifts I'd give this year.
Your credit line allows me to run up bills quite large
And when I'm through exhausting you, I'll use my Master Charge.
(Same tune, sung in late February)
Oh, little Bank Americard, you bring me discontent
I calculate your interest rate is over twelve percent.
Each month, your cry for payments, my letter-box bombards;
I'm one more sap, caught in your trap. Next year I'll just send cards.
What Else?
While working as a mall Santa, I had many children ask for electric trains. "If
you get a train," I would tell each one, "you know your dad is
going to want to play with it too. Is that okay?"
The usual answer was a quick yes, but after I asked one boy this question,
he became very quiet. Trying to move the conversation along, I asked what
else he would like Santa to bring him.
He promptly replied, "Another train."

iPod Success Breeds Success - The year 2005
brought a significant increase of
chip sales all over the world, thanks in large part to the success of the
Apple iPod. Specifically, iPod models shuffle and, later in the year, nano,
have contributed to rising revenue of the companies that produce the flash
chips. Other devices have used the chips as well, but the overwhelming popularity
of iPod pushed profit over the edge. - from FinFacts
Trust iPod - Those who break down and buy
an iPod can't fathom how they ever existed without one. Even some who were
once leery of it have become hyped up by all the iPod buzz and have found
their music lives all the better for it. The key is that iPod gives the consumer
control of his or her music environment. They end up spending all kinds of
quality time with it and customizing it with accessories to boot. -

Christmas Gifts A Click Away -
This Christmas season more customers are clicking their way to getting their
gifts. It seems that the number of people shopping online for the holidays
has doubled in the last four years. Naturally, this figure stands to pose
a threat to retail stores this season. It is speculated, however, that the
stores may have many people stopping in at the last minute since Christmas
Eve falls on a Saturday. - from BBC

A man went into a dentist and said, "How much will it cost to have
teeth taken out"
"$90" said the dentist.
"That's
ridiculous," said the man.
"I could lose the anesthetic and it
would cost $60."
"That's still to expensive," said
the man.
"If I don't use any anesthesia I could knock the price
down to $20."
"Still to much," said the man.
"Well one of my students
can do it for $10," said the dentist.
"Perfect. Book

Reindeer Change
One evening, in a busy lounge in the deep south, a reindeer walked in the
door, bellied up to the bar and ordered a martini. Without batting an eye,
the bartender mixed and poured the drink, set it in front of the reindeer,
and accepted the twenty-dollar bill from the reindeer's hoof.
As he handed
the reindeer some coins in change, he said "You know, I
think you're the first reindeer I've ever seen in here."
The reindeer
looked hard at the hoof full of change and said "Hmmmph.
Let me tell you something, buddy. At these outrageous prices, I'm the last
reindeer you'll see in here."
