Thanks In General
After trying a new shampoo for the first time, Morris
mailed off an enthusiastic letter of approval to the manufacturer.
Several weeks later he came home from work to find a large carton in the
middle of the floor. Inside were free samples of the many products the same
company produced: soaps, detergents, tooth paste, and paper items...with
a "thank
you" note from the manufacturer.
"Well, what do you think?" asked
his smiling wife, Ruth.
"I think that next time," Morris replied, "I'm writing to
General Motors."
Political Prayer
Edward Hale, while chaplain of the U.S. Senate, was asked, "Do you
pray for the senators?"
He quickly replied, "No. After getting
to know the senators, I pray for the people."
Young And Foolish
A young and foolish pilot wanted to sound cool on the aviation frequencies.
This was his first time approaching a field during the nighttime, and instead
of making any official requests to the tower, he said, "Guess who?"
The controller switched the field lights off and replied, "Guess where!"
Spin It On
How many Irish does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Two. One to hold the bulb, and one to drink until the room spins around.
Olmos Dunn
A man was heading to England and his next-door neighbor Mrs. Dunn had just
sent her son Olmos off to England a week ago. He hadn't called since he was
there, so she asked the man to get him to call her. She knew he was staying
in a big white house so she told him that.
When he arrived in England, the man asked the first person he saw for the
big white house. Thinking he meant the outhouse, the Brit said, ''It is in
the middle of the park.'' So the man went to the park and saw a white house
in the center.
He knocked on the door and said, ''Are you Olmos Dunn?''
A voice came from inside, ''Yeah, I just have to find the toilet paper.''

iPod Buff No Bluff - Those who think iPod
is simply pleasing to the eye and ear need to think again. Its looks can
be deceiving. For instance, who could tell by looking at the sleek iPod that
it would be such a digital dynamo? The gadget can hold such gigantic amounts
of information that many professionals use their personal iPods as back up
hard drives so they can consult with clients from their homes. Some have
even said the iPod is just a dressed up storage device. -
from TechWorld
No Dent In Apple Demand - The demand for Apple
products increased intensely over the holidays, and it is showing no signs
of slowing down. Consumer desire for Mac mini and the Powerbook G4 in particular
is pulsing at a steady rate rather than diminishing. Analysts suggest that
this is a strong sign for the success of Apple. They also note that Apple
is stepping up to the production plate to make sure it provides plenty of
product availability. - from MacMinute
Cars With Connections - In a study of traffic,
cars are being connected to each other, linked to other cars through computers.
Two hundred vehicles are networked together through handheld computers inside
which collect data as they are driven. Since the cars can sensor each others
motion it is possible for the computers to detect traffic jams and for the
vehicles to avoid them. The purpose of these techie practices is to allow
traffic to flow more smoothly. - from Excite

Chicken!
A man runs to the doctor and says, "Doctor, you've got to help

Drunken Man And Blonde

drunk and delirious, the man turns to the person sitting next to him and
says, "You wanna hear a blonde joke?"
The person replies, "I am 240 pounds,
world kick-boxing champion and a natural blonde. My friend is 190 pounds,
world judo champion and is a natural blonde. And my other friend is 200
pounds, world arm wrestling champion and is also a natural blonde. Do you
still want to tell me that blonde joke?"
The man thinks for a while and replies, "Not if I have to explain it three

Tiger Roars With Innovation -
With the release of Tiger this week, it is already receiving rave reviews.
No less would be expected of the new operating system of Apple. Buffed up
application capability and a self search engine called Spotlight are certainly
something to look forward to seeing. Not to mention brand new versions of
the programs Quicktime for music and Core Image for graphics. This cool cat
promises to bring Apple users closer to their computers than ever before. -

Jobs Jumps Up Job Performance - Analysts who
adhere to the details of job performance in relation to pay have put Apple
CEO, Steve Jobs, a lot closer to the top of the list this year. Compared
to last year, those investing in Apple were compensated a great deal through
share returns and Apple's earnings rose almost three hundred percent. All
of this Jobs accomplished without a significant raise in his own salary,
which averages a mere $14.6 million a year. - from Forbes
Virtual Vatican - The beloved belated Pope
brought technology to his position by being the first Pope to send and receive
e-mail. Now Pope Benedict XVI is taking it a step further by beginning his
papacy with his own personal e-mail address. Because of this the Pope will
be hearing from Catholics all around the world as each nation has a separate
e-mail address to contact him. Not only that, but the Vatican is already
well versed in the virtual world, using e-mail to send press releases. -

Just A Bump
A guy goes into a doctor's office with a frog growing
out of his head.
"Tell me how it started," says the doctor.
"It
started out as a bump on my butt," says
the frog.
Good Time Truck
In 1940 two men were flying from New York to Los Angeles
on what was then a new DC 3. They left New York and when
they landed in Philadelphia, a red truck drove up to
put fuel into the wing.
A little while later, they landed in Pittsburgh and,
again, a red truck pulled up to fill the tanks with fuel.
Each time they landed to discharge or take on passengers,
a red truck would pull up and add fuel to the tanks.
Finally, after landing in Kansas City and seeing truck
pull up again, one said to the other, "We sure are
making good time."
Said the other, "Yes, we are, and so is that red
truck!"
Color Television
One day, a man walked into an appliance store.
"Do you sell color televisions?"
"Yes," said the clerk. "Yes, we do."
"Then give me a green one."
What Is Sex?
An 8-year-old girl went to her dad, who was working
in the yard.
She said, "Daddy, what is sex?"
The father was surprised that she would ask such a question,
but decided that if she was old enough to ask the question,
then she was old enough to get a straight answer.
He proceeded to tell her all about the 'birds and the
bees.'
When he finished explaining, the little girl was looking
at him with her mouth hanging open.
Her father said, "Why did you ask that question, honey?"
She replied, "Mom told me to tell you that dinner will
be ready in just a few sex."
