ELDERLY COLORS
I didn't know if my
granddaughter had learned her colors yet, so I decided
to test her. I would point
out something and ask what color it was. She would tell
me, and she was always correct. But it was fun for me,
so I continued. At last, she headed for the door, saying
sagely, "Grandma,
I think you should try to figure out some of these yourself!"
THE TEST: READY FOR CHILDREN? Final
Assignment
Find a couple who already have a small child.
Lecture them on how they can improve their discipline,
patience, tolerance, toilet training, and child's table
manners. Suggest many ways they can improve. Emphasize
to them that they should never allow their children to
run riot. Enjoy this experience. It will be the last time
you will have all the answers.
MEN AND THE TOILET SEAT
How many men does
it take to put down a toilet seat?
We don't know because
it's never been done!
FAILED MERGER
Yahoo and Netscape: Net 'n
Yahoo didn't work out because they would have to relocate

New Desktops on hand to add plenty of GUI shine to your desktop

3-D Rendered - Startin'
up this great GUI Edition is a very Special selection
by
Jameson
Sasser! With a keen eye for desktop design, Jameson
offers a spectacular view of blue, while putting all available
dimensions in a digital pixel perspective. You'll find
all the elements of fine desktop design in this outstanding
number and won't be able to pry your eyes from its view!
Desktops - Open wide!
A mouth watering, fresh squeezed Mandarine makes
for a GUI-licious delight from fabulous FR4NK!
This talented artist has been increasingly pumping out
the pixels without sacrificing an ounce of quality. One
of his best works to date, FR4NK's latest number is certain
to satisfy while looking forward to more!
'Tis
the season for a splendid round of the Seasons by
the ever creative Bob
Wiley. It's GUI apparent that Bob knows no limits to
a most colorful imagination. This beautiful selection will
grab your attention and immediately ignite your inspiration
with wonderment and awe. It is a must-have selection for
every desktop season!
Still
doin' the diggin' from the artistic archives of Adam
Dickson, we've
found another wonderful number titled HD.
Adam's photorealistic talents reside mainly at his home
base of Pictures
and Adicons, but this "naked" Hard Drive comes from
another one of his cyber stops: Bobbins
Wingnuts. Gotta assume that the subject in this great
piece got permanently retired!
Wrapping up this Desktop Edition in a most
majestic way is William
D. Thompson with another
Easter work of art: Cristo
Rey (Christ the
King). The photo was taken in La Capilla
del Santisimo in the Parroquia of San Miguel de Allende.
The national monument, El Cristo Rey, towers over a church
which forms its base and marks the geographical center
of Mexico. A big round of applause goes out to William
for this magnificent number! Enjoy!
Thanks

NOUVEAU RICH BLOND
There was this
nouveau riche blond girl, who went to the nearest Mercedes
showroom with a pocketful of dollars, and came out with
the latest
model. Half an hour later she was back at the showroom,
claiming a that the car they sold her was terrible,
that she was
disappointed a brand-new Mercedes would get a fault
in the gearbox after 15 minutes. The management apologized
and gave her a new car.
Again, after half an
hour she came back. The management offered her a new
car, but sent
along one of their
engineers to see if they could figure out what the
problem was. She
put in the first gear...sped up...put in second...third...fourth...
fifth..."And now," she
said, "for
the rocket," and threw it in reverse.
KLEENEX
How do you get a Kleenex to dance?
Put a little
boogie in it!
FACES
Finding one of her
students making faces at others on the playground, Mrs.
Smith stopped to gently
reprove the child. Smiling sweetly, the teacher said, "Bobby,
when I was a child, I was told that if I made ugly faces,
it would freeze and I would stay like that." Bobby
looked up and replied, "Well, Mrs. Smith, you can't
say you weren't warned."

speaking with a policeman who pulled him over, Sutton discovered

the while. The officer simply thought it was a stuffed

Denver
Gold -
When visiting Colorado's capitol in Denver, tourists
are amazed at the resemblance the structure bears
to the nation’s capitol in Washington, D.C.
It was designed and built with the nation's
capitol in mind. The majestic building is composed
of
white granite, with large pillars at each entrance
that
help support the ceramic-style roof. Pillars
along the west entrance support statues that
were carved
in stone, depicting early life in Denver. The
building was built in the 1890s. In 1908, 24-karat
gold
was used to plate the building's bell-shaped
dome, commemorating the discovery of the precious
metal
by early pioneers.

A hibernating woodchuck breathes only ten times

THE TEST: READY
FOR CHILDREN? Part
II
Feeding Test:
Obtain a large plastic milk jug. Fill halfway with water.
Suspend from the ceiling with a stout cord. Start the

(such as Fruit Loops or Cheerios) into the mouth of
the jug while pretending to be an airplane. Now dump
the contents of the jug on the floor.
Night Test:
Prepare by obtaining a small cloth bag and fill it
with 8 to 12 pounds of sand. Soak it thoroughly
in water. At
8:00 PM begin to waltz and hum with the bag until 9:00
PM. Lay down your bag and set your alarm for 10:00 PM.
Get up, pick up your bag, and sing every song you have
ever heard. Make up about a dozen more and sing these
too until 4:00 AM. Set alarm for 5:00 AM. Get up
and make breakfast.
Keep this up for five years. Look cheerful.
Physical Test (Women)
Obtain a large beanbag chair and attach it to the
front of your clothes. Leave it there for 9 months.
Now remove
10% of the beans.
Physical Test (Men):
Go to the nearest drug store. Set your wallet on the counter.
Ask the clerk to help himself. Now proceed to the nearest
food store. Go to the head office and arrange for your paycheck
to be directly deposited to the store. Purchase a newspaper.
Go home and read it quietly for the last time.
SHROOMING
A mushroom walks into
a bar and asks for a drink, but the barkeep said, "Sorry, but we
don't serve mushrooms." The mushroom replies, "Why,
I'm a fun guy."
UNCLE TED'S BIG ADVENTURE
Joe loved golf, but
his eyesight had gotten so bad, that he couldn't find
his ball once he'd hit it. He consulted
with his wife, and she recommended that Joe bring along
her uncle Ted.
Joe said, "But
Ted is 80 years old and half senile!"
His wife replied, "Yes,
but his eyesight is incredible."
Joe finally agreed
and took Ted along. He teed off and could feel that
he had hit it solidly. He asked
Ted, "Do
you see it?" Ted
nodded his head and said, "Boy,
that was a beautiful shot!"
Joe excitedly asked, "Well,
where did it land?!"
Ted said, "Hmmm.
I forget."
